was founded in Belgium by Jan Kievit. It clearly
responded to a market need, and its evident
professionalism and customer-orientation led
to rapid growth, with subsidiaries being set
up in various other countries.

Technology NV is founded in Kalmthout,
Belgium. It later moves to Merksem and finally
Kapellen, adopting the name "J-TEC" along

J-TEC Nederland BV is set up in Ede, the Netherlands. Nowadays J-Tec Nederland BV operates centrally from the head office in Kapellen..
J-TEC becomes part of the Katoen
Natie Group, a worldwide logistics integrator and port operator.
J-TEC is able to contribute its expertise in process technology.
J-TEC Schüttguttechnik GmbH is set
up in Viernheim, Germany.
J-TEC Iberica is set up in Tarragona,
Spain.
